Welcome to Heaven & Healing Podcast. Formerly known as Moon and Back Podcast, this was once a place of astrology, yoga, new age spirituality and self-healing. In October 2021, I opened my heart to Jesus Christ and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior later that year. By December, I was convicted by the Holy Spirit to rebrand my podcast and denounce new age spirituality as I officially declared my identity in Christianity. On February 22, 2022, Heaven & Healing was officially born. On Heaven & Healing, I share testimonies from others who have been saved by Christ – from other former new agers, to former witches, former addicts, former atheists and so much more. I also bring on Biblical scholars to share knowledge of the history, context, and meaning of Scripture. Additionally discussed are experiences from my own life, political commentary and cultural discourse as it all relates to God and His Word. For any believer or non-believer, this podcast is for you, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
Episode 5 of Heaven & Healing Podcast features my beloved sister in Christ, Naela Rose. Naela is an ex-occultist with a background in womb worship, menstrual magic, psychic mediumship, yoga and goddess work both personally and professionally before Jesus saved her from the deception she was living in. She pulled a complete 180 and gave up her business over a year ago, and has lived in stewardship to the Lord ever since.
In this conversation, Naela shares her coming-to-Christ testimony, leading us into discussion of the God-shaped hole in all of us. We talk about how every person on this planet has an innate longing within for God because He designed us to need Him; however, we live in a secular, global society that benefits and profits from convincing the masses that this longing can be self-fulfilled with what the world has to offer. Consequently, us humans attempt to fill the void with sex, sport, food, drugs, alcohol, intellectualism, porn, music, personal-actualization, or new-age spirituality as Naela and both fell victim to.
God created every being that has ever or will ever live. We are made in His image, in His likeness, in His love, and therefore we need Him, as children of the Heavenly Father. But because God’s love is unconditional, He will never force us to accept this truth. He has declared free will for His children, and therefore we have been given the personal responsibility to recognize that need for Him.
Because we are designed to need, love and serve Him — for He loves and delights in us — we are inherently programmed to worship something. Therefore, if it’s not God we rightfully choose, we will try fitting square pegs into round holes and find something to worship. We are wired that way. So without God, we become obsessed with or addicted to things, people, and relationships that we think will quench the internal thirst, only to be continually left high and dry because God is the Living Water.
Many modalities of self-worship to idol-worship that we reach for in an attempt to fill the void that only God can fulfill within us, because He is the one who put it there.

The Infected Trilogy is a three-book audio fiction series from #1 New York Times bestselling novelist Scott Sigler. “Part Stephen King, part Chuck Palahniuk, INFECTED blends science fiction and horror into a pulpy masterpiece of action, terror, and suspense.” James Rollins, New York Times bestselling author of The Judas Strain and Black Order “INFECTED is a marvel of gonzo, in-your-face, up-to-the-minute terror.” Lincoln Child, New York Times bestselling author of Deep Storm and Death Match “INFECTED is a bucking pulp pony that throws you this way and that, and just when you think you’ve got your balance, that ole pony bucks the other way. It’s one hell of an exhilarating ride.” Joe R. Lansdale, World Horror Convention Grand Master and six-time Bram Stoker Award-winning author of Bubba Ho-Tep and Hap & Leonard SEASON 1: INFECTED Across America, a mysterious disease turns ordinary people into raving murderers who inflict brutal horrors on strangers, themselves, and even their own families. Working under the government’s shroud of secrecy, CIA operative Dew Phillips crisscrosses the country trying in vain to capture a live victim. With only decomposing corpses for clues, CDC epidemiologist Margaret Montoya races to analyze the science behind this deadly pathogen. She learns that these killers all have one thing in common – they’ve been contaminated by a bioengineered parasite, shaped by a complexity far beyond the limits of known science. Meanwhile Perry Dawsey – a hulking former football star now resigned to life as a cubicle-bound desk jockey – awakens one morning to find several mysterious welts growing on his body. Soon Perry finds himself acting and thinking strangely, hearing voices . . . he is infected. The fate of the human race hinges on the bloody war Perry must wage with his own body, because the parasites want something from him, something that goes beyond mere murder. SEASON 2: CONTAGIOUS The brutal epidemic sweeping America is driven not by evolution, but rather by some unknown, malevolent intelligence. Standing against this unimaginable threat is a small group assembled under the strictest secrecy. Hulking former football star Perry Dawsey possesses an unexplainable ability to locate the disease’s hosts. Violent and unpredictable, Dawsey is both the nation’s best hope and a terrifying liability. Hardened CIA veteran Dew Phillips must somehow forge a connection with Perry if they’re going to stand a chance against this maddeningly adaptable opponent. Working with them is Margaret Montoya, a brilliant epidemiologist who fights for a cure even as she reels under the weight of endless horrors. This trio has kept humanity in the game, but when the disease becomes contagious, it triggers a fast countdown to Armageddon. SEASON 3: PANDEMIC To some, Doctor Margaret Montoya is a hero — a brilliant scientist who saved the human race from an alien intelligence determined to exterminate all of humanity. To others, she’s a monster—a mass murderer single-handedly responsible for the worst atrocity ever to take place on American soil. All Margaret knows is that she’s broken. The blood of a million deaths stain her hands. Endless guilt and crippling nightmares chew at her, take pieces of her soul, drown her in self-hatred so crippling she can’t salvage her marriage, let alone be even a shadow of the warrior she once was. But Margaret is about to be called into action again. Because before the murderous intelligence was destroyed, it launched one last payload — a soda can–sized container filled with deadly microorganisms that makes humans feed upon their own kind. This podcast is called Speaking Your Truth: Untold Stories of Abuse.
The inspiration behind this project was my own personal story with domestic violence. This year as I went through my divorce I was searching for an outlet to share my story, I was silent about what happened to me for almost 10 years, I wanted to be heard and I couldn’t find a platform to do so. The more I spoke up this year, I noticed how others were being inspired and began reaching out to me to tell me their stories. I was sadden to hear a lot people I considered friends have gone through similar situations and I never knew. It was then I decided to make my own platform to help others be heard and help them tell their stories. By doing this my hope is to not only help them heal but use our trauma to help prevent other tragedies from happening and help others out of toxic relationships. My goal is for victims to be listening to my podcast and learn more about how to get out and to know they are alone and should not feel ashamed. Or for survivors to be listening and also feel like they are not alone and to be inspired to tell their stories or find other ways to help. Domestic Violence effects more than 10 million people per year. More than 1 in 3 women (35.6%) and more than 1 in 4 men (28.5%) in the U.S. report having experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime. It’s time we give some of these survivors a voice and I hope my podcast can help do that.
